The article about my business, Poozles – Pamela Day, came out last week in the February issue of Sacramento Magazine. Laura Martin, the writer, really pulled together my not so polished answers from our interview into a very smooth and easy to read article. I love the title, “Snuggle Up with a Poozle”! If you are interested in seeing it, there is a link on my website: www.poozles.com.
From that came an email from Taryn Winter Hill, a reporter with CW31 television in Sacramento asking if I would be interested in being on their morning show. Of course I am! I’m still doing the happy dance from that. The program is scheduled for February 19. I’ll have two minute segments in each of the three hours that they broadcast. She wanted to come to my Red Barn Studio, however, when I wrote to her that I am over an hour away from Sacramento she asked me to find a place closer. Thanks to my wonderful friends in ASG, (American Sewing Guild), I will be doing the remote in a wonderful fiber and fabric store called J.R. Flamingo’s. Now I’m busy thinking about what to show, what to demonstrate, what to wear, and having my eyebrows waxed!

I’m trying to see coverage that was on CW31. A friend called me and said I would be interested in seeing your designs. I am fasinated with felting. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can see video presentation? I would really appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks so very much,
Patti

Greetings!
Thank you for showing your wares on CW31. As a Clothing/Textiles project leader for the 4-H youth development program, I have demonstrated different ideas with felted wool to the youth for quite a few years. They often act as if I am from another planet until they see the finished product. I have found that thrift shops in warmer climes have the best selection, since people in cooler places actually purchase woolen sweaters to wear as, well, sweaters! When I travel on business, I look for these.
Best wishes with your venture!
