This weekend I’m teaching a couple of costuming classes at the Renaissance Symposium in San Jose. I have a passion for costuming and sharing what I know with others. I happy to write that I learn a lot myself from other classes that I take as well as those participating in my classes.
New this time is a costume class taught by a panel. There were three of us with similar class proposals so we going to teach together. My fellow teachers are Margo Anderson and Kimiko Small. I am indeed in excellent company.
The Ren Sym is also a great place to see friends from Faire that I haven’t seen since last year. I will also be talking with people about my guild, Valhalla Fellowship. It is a membership guild at the Valhalla Renaissance Faire in South Lake Tahoe.
If time permits, I’ll also squeeze in some retail therapy – fabric shopping!
Til Later,
Poozle
